The new HXE G3 drilling well servicing choke has demonstrated the ability to withstand the API 16C performance test requirement of 200 close/open cycles at various temperatures and due to its design, will require less maintenance while in service. A gas flow coefficient test using a production choke has demonstrated how well the choke regulates the flow of the gas. The recent manufacturing, testing, and delivery of T3 Energy Services' first 16 in 5m and 13 in 10m D6012 BOP assemblies is a very significant first in the pressure control industry. This BOP stack has the capability to accept standard pipe rams, 2 7/8 to 5 1/2 VBR rams in 5,000 and 10,000 psi preventers, and shear rams that perform shearing functions, all with the same bonnet assemblies. Severe Service Model 6012 ram packers and seals, manufactured at T3 Nisku, have completed the industries first ever performance evaluation in an elevated temperature environment of 50% jet plane fuel, 10% H2S, 10% CO2, and 30% methane gases.
